MYTIME OVER FIFTIES STOURBRIDGE

Our Meeting

WE MEET on the fourth Wednesday of each month, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., in the Amblecote Suite, Stourbridge Town Hall. New members welcomed. Activities include walks, visits to places of interest, pub lunches and theatre.

Our Events

The January meeting was attended by a large group of members and visitors to hear Mrs Mary Edwards. Her subject was “Gardens I Have Enjoyed." Mrs Edwards is a keen gardener and photographer. She has combined these interests to produce stunning photographic records of her own garden and gardens she and her family have visited over the years.

We sat enthralled as her camera took us around many famous English gardens. We also went across the English Channel to see Monet's gardens at Giverny in France. Her slides were vibrant with the colours of flowers and foliage. We were all left feeling truly inspired to improve our own gardens but also to take time to visit the gardens shown to us.

Forthcoming Events.
February
Our next meeting is on February 23rd when Mr Ian Bott, well known local historian, will be telling us all about "Graveyards".

Join us at our meetings for talks, walks and outings.
